Figured I'd pop in and introduce myself.. found this forum when researching bike rack solutions for a 996.

Just bought an '03 996 - Lapis Blue, Grey interior, C4 Cab w/ hardtop - wee! What a fun toy.

I live in Boulder, CO, on the edge of the Rocky Mountains - Can't wait for summer time to cruise the twisty mountain roads with the top down.

If I can figure out how, I'll attach a picture of the new toy...

Hi, NickW, nice looking car! Dark color always look nice. I use to own two black cars, too much work to keep it nice and shine, so, my toy is silver now, much easiler to take care, but I miss the black sometime.

 

Yeah, I know what you mean about dark cars.. My previous cars have all been silver or grey... owned an '85 Toyota MR2 in silver forever, then
I bought a silver Tacoma truck. My wife's car is charcoal gray BMW 530. This is our first experiment with something different.. we'll see how it goes.
It sure is a pretty blue, though

Nice car.. Originally I wanted a charcoal or dark colored boxster also..but I was worried about the swirl marks so I got silver instead.. Just try not to wipe it dry in circular motion I guess..
