Hi all, I'm new to th German cars, meaning I know nothing about them. I have the opertunity to purchase a 1969 911 and from what I gather there are several models. My question to all of you is, how do I determine what model the car is? Is it in the VIN, or on a body panel? The car has newer paint, motor and tranny has been rebuilt, only needs the interior freshened up. The guy wants 6k for it. From what I have been told by others, I should be able to double my money on it. Sorry but I haven't taken any pics as of yet, maybe this weekend. Thanks all.
