Well I am looking for information on swapping out a 87 944 engine. This is the first time for this type of engine swap and I am having trouble getting it to come out. I will post a longer link in the other forum.

So about the Porsches:

I have a 1973 914 and I have helped my son purchase a 1987 944. The 914 needed alot of work but it is mostly done. The 944 on the other hand..... Well we are changing engines, interior, new paint, etc.

Hope to hear from someone that can help.

Hi, welcome to the forum. It sounds like you've got your work cut out with your two Porsches. I've never taken out a 944 engine so I'm sorry I can't help, but I'm sure you will find someone on the forum who can. Good luck!

Sounds like a big project, do you plan on posting any pics? Good luck on the engine swap. Welcome to the forum
