Default thread layout

so i'm having a bit of trouble with the layout of the threads. I like it to be in chronological order from newest to oldest, however the forum keeps kicking it back to thread title. I tried fiddlign around with the user CP to no avail. Anybody have any advice?

Well, at the bottom of each forum there is a selection of how the different threads are organized and if each if to be dsiplayed olest to newest, or whatever. You can pick what you want. this might help.

Yeah I've noticed that. This is probably my fault, but I meant that I wanted it to be chronological as a default layout. As in, I set that I want it to go chronologically, and don't want to reset it every time I go into a new thread.
