Default Bentley Continental GT

For anyone who cares, there seem to be a good number of Bentley Continental GTs coming off 30 and 36 month leases now, many with lowmiles(around 10K) and some factory warranty left, and available for around $120K -- not cheap but a wopping $60K-$75K less than new.

The Continental GT is not "your fathers Bentley," but instead what I consider the finest andsexiestsports coupe made anywhere, ever, really a "super-Porsche" -- 12 cylinders, four turbos, a bit bigger inside and out, muich more luxurious, and a bit faster than the Carrera S (at least on the highway) but slower than a Turbo. And prettier -- just beautiful outside, and inside the most luxurious interior I have ever seen.

I've attached a link to the one I am looking at.

Parked along new 997s and Turbos all around it, this car just sort of dominates the whole lot.

There are others - easy to find your own!

You are right Lee. The Continental GT is a Bentley in a league of its own. I certainly enjoy driving my buddy's car!

Yes indeed. I'm not sure if it is this one, but I'm getting one.

Hi Lee
Colour is important - Silvers look good. Dark metallics look good too. My buudy's car is Metallic Black with Tan interior leather. Always creates a stir when he drags his wheel chair off the back seat and hauls himself in and out! How about a Bright Red as a thought?

See, that's the problem, I want to have my money, too. Writing that check for $120K, I'm just having an issue with actuallyparting with that much for a used car . . .

Yeah, that's my problem as well. I love my toys, but they're expensive.

Oh, as to fast, I think it does mid 12s quarter mile and just under 200 -- 198 or199 mphtop speed. The Continental GT Speed model, with 600 instead of 552 HP, only available since last year, is faster at a bit over 200. Sort of unimportant to me although I would like the bragging rights to 200+.
