Default Personal Injury Claim for a Car Accident

A dozed off driver coming in the opposite direction hit my car head on on the front left quarter. Air bags deployed on both cars. The other driver was given tickets for not maintaining lane. His insurance company has accepted liability of the accident. My car was totaled and was settled by my insurance company. The personal injury claim is with the other driver's insurance company.

In terms of the injuries, I fractured my Fibula bone on the left leg. I was taken to ER and then the treatment continued with Orthopedic surgeon. It did not require surgery. I was given knee splints, crutches, and then later on was asked to undergo the physical therapy sessions at the Orthopedic Surgeon's hospital's Rehab Department.

Medical treatments $7366.00
Transportation $101.70
Lost Wages $4686.08
Total amount of Specials $12154.58

I've now completed all the treatments and feel like I've recovered. I need help with estimating the reasonable amount I should ask for pain and suffering? Any anecdotal experiences you can share? Thanks in advance.

I can't share any anecdotal experiences, but I hope you asked for a decent sum for suffering. Btw how much it was?

How scary it is when drivers fall asleep on the road. Unfortunately, one of my friends was hit like that. He wanted to cross the road and jumped out from behind the parked cars. The driver did not slow down, because he was almost asleep. A terrible story, his family even hired a wrongful death attorney los Angeles to prove that my friend was not guilty and get at least a compensation ... I mean, you were lucky that you survived, so I hope you asked for as much compensation as possible. So, how much did you ask and did you have any problems with it?

Awful. I hate all the irresponsible drivers that don’t think of the other people while they are driving. My mom always said that she doesn’t want me to drive her car because you never know who will be on the road with you. Speaking of, it is good that you wrote a car accident personal injury claim and that you are ok now. I wish you all the best and be careful the next time!

Well it is not a reason to stop driving. But thank you for the tip

It also happened to me some years ago, and yes, it is not cool at all.

I had a similar situation some years ago, and I trully understand you. Besides the fact that I had to pay a lot of money for my treatments, I also paid a lot of money to an incompetent lawyer that just tricked me, and took everything from me without even trying to help me win the trial. Happily my cousin recommended me some honest lawyers working at https://waymanandlong.co.uk/new-serv...ancing-prices/ , and they adviced me to appeal and helped with a good lawyer that overturned the case in my favour.

Wooooow, 7366 bucks for treatment that is a pretty big amount of money. I also had a similar fracture on the tibula, it is really nasty, I do understand you really much dude. I was having some really bad pains in the leg back then actually. Did you solve this issue man? How much did you actually estimated for the court? My dad has got into an accident recently, however I gave him the contacts of a really great accident lawyer who works for https://www.accidenteayuda.com/ , they are actually having the best specialists in this field, and everything looks to be fine.

Lucky you. It's hard to find good ones.

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear about your car accident, but I'm glad to hear that you have recovered from your injuries.
