Default 1973 911T-advice please!

Hello there,

i need some advice,

I love porsches, I want to own one but cash is my issue. Now, a look recycler, has a 1973 911T for $9000 CND. it has front right damage; fender, headlight, and hood.

I don't much at all about these cars (ie. issues, how much are parts, are they accessible... etc)

May be there's some one out there who could help, is it worth the investment?

thanks

Buying an old porsche, unless very rare is never an investment. Well....it's an investment, just a very poor one. You will rarely get the money you put into the car, out of it, especially if it has been hit. That is a price killer right there, even if it has been repaired properly. If you want to pick up a fixer up 911, that is fine, you can work on it slowly and get it back in shape if you do all the labor yourself, and space it out, then they are a lot of fun. If you want something that you can just get in and drive, then you'd better be looking at a boxster or 996.

If money is really an issue that you are looking at a wrecked 911, then you probably shouldn't be looking at one quite honestly. It would take thousands to get back into shape, and then you have to start dealing with the general maintenance, etc.
