Default 1977 911 C2 update?

Looking into buying my first Porsche.
found thisgorgeous old girl, looks clean, interior is near immaculate.

what should i look for if i go check out this car? common problems?
the price is in Australian dollars, how does it compare to the price's paid elsewhere?

My first question is why would someone want to make a '77 look like a 964 body style?Was it a total that someone pieced together?Was the conversion done correctly? Who did the conversion?,quality of parts used, etc. It just presents too many questions.

Also, it seemsif the 964 body style was what was desired, it would have been alot cheaper to just buy the newer model then convert the older one. 964 Prices are not all that different from the 911.

I don't know how the money converts, so I wouldn't even try to estimate value... If it was me, I'd walk away from it.I think there are too many potential problems. Just my $.02... Others my differ.
