Default 1985 Porsche Newbie Help

I recently purchased a 1985 Porsche 911, 3.2 Cabriolet. It has a few upgrades (I think) and the interior is fantastic with turbo heated seats, etc. My questions comes to performance upgrade ideas...

It is a EURO version first and foremost. So I know it already has a bit more punch than the US version. It was sent to Cali to a Porsche shop who went through it about 5 years ago, spending $14,000+ to rebuild the engine and transmission.

I was told it now puts roughly 260HP out. They removed the heater too, by the way.

I'd like to do some upgrades, without spending a ton on a turbo kit. What else is there that I can do? It has stainless headers and exhaust, although underneath is very rusty on the pipes... (maybe not fully stainless?)

Forgive me, as I am NEW to Porsche and thought this would be a great intro car to buy. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks
