Default 1988 Porsche 911 Cabriolet

Hi there,

I've been researching 3.2 Carrera 911s and have been seriously looking at a 1988 Cabriolet.

Can anybody comment on how expensive it would be to maintain one of these.

Would it be a bad idea to use one as a daily driver (reliability etc.)?

Anything else to be aware of? (this would be my first porsche).

thanks!

The 3.2L engine was a great motor, and they are pretty reliable to drive everyday. If the car checks out to be in good condition, and the price is right, then go for it

I agree, but a PPI is important, also any records to indicate upgrades performed and who did the work helps... I don't know if A/C is a must, but the air in these cars is not really all that good... I've update my 911's A/C and it seems to work OK... Good Luck and I think you've picked a great year and model
