Does the 2000 Cab come standard with glass in rear window?

 

I believe the rear window went to glass in the 2002 timeframe. As always Porsche probably phases it in with a vin number.

My 1999 cab back window is still perfect. it sat out allot during its life because it is the car I took to work.
I had a freind with a 1995 993 cab who had his window cloud up after 3 years since new. he went to Porsche and the cost in 1999 was $5000. He bought elsewhere. my quess is and it is truly a quess is Porsche did something with the window chemistry so it would age well.

All I know is mine at 7 years and counting even sitting in Florida sunshine is perfect.
