Go to WWW.Edmunds.com/used cars, and then follow the menus punching in the Porsche stuff they ask, to get true value pricing. Myself and Roro just bought TT's and got them for around the Trade In price. If you can get yours for around the trade-in price, thats a good deal.

And don't forget to get a pre-buy inspection by an independent Porsche mechanic, that you hire. It will cost you around $350.00, but is well worth it if he finds anything major.

Good luck and keep us posted [sm=signs003.gif]

How would one go about findind a Porsche Mechanic that can perform a pre-inspection?

How reliable is the Dealer's "Porsche-Certified Approved Pre-owned" blah, blah?

I too am in the market for a low-miles, clean '01-'02 TT

Look up the local Porsche dealerships in the area where the car is located (on-line yellow pages). Talk with the service manager and find out if they do pre-buy car inspections (some Porsche dealers do), if not, have him recommend a private, local, Porsche mechanic/garage that would do the inspection. If this fails, you can do a Porsche car repair search with the on-line yellow pages for that area. You WILL eventually find someone. Get the seller on board first, if they don't want to agree to a pre-buy inspection, then move on. Good luck!
