Default 2007 997 turbo

Saw one at the dealership today. What an amazing car! My brother has a Carrera S on order and salesman showed him the first Turbo they got in. Nice. Thought it would look much like the 996 but it does look alot different than I thought. [8D]

Yeah, I think the 997 looks more like a 993 than a 996!

That's SOOOOOOOOOO sick looking!!!!. So why, if you have not already told other's, are you tearing apart this perfect car? That thing looks better in your shop than the dealer or the porsche site. Thanks for the photo's , it just makes me even want my car more than ever. This is killing me having to wait until Oct. 30th. HMMMM. Give us details what your are planning to do!!!

One more thing, when you say "six speed of course" why the trip (S) for 07' is faster than the six speed right? Or does it just have to do with the fun of driving the six speed.

In my opinion, while it may be faster, you don't buy a sports car with an automatic....even if it is a "fancy" automatic That's strictly personal preference though

That is your tow hook

Because that is what we do for a living The car will probably be in the neighborhood of about 800hp when we are done with it. Also, we will tear down the engine and rebuild it right away, so we know the procedure and can source any more special tools we might need. We do this, because we are 1 of about 4-5 people in the US outside of Porsche that can rebuild a 996 engine. We will be the first one outside of porsche to rebuild a 997 engine. That is good for business.
