RE: 2007 997 turbo
"In my opinion, while it may be faster, you don't buy a sports car with an automatic...."
I agree. But I have good friends with Tiptronics that swear by them . . . It just not seem sport. I'll stick with my manual have-to-shift-it transmission, even if it is slower. |

So Doc, any progress on the car? I just added the loc diff to my order today, do you have one on your yellow beast?

RE: 2007 997 turbo
Ok, look what showed up today: GT3 front bumper. Lip spoiler for it seems to be MIA, will have to figure out where that got shipped to, lol.
http://karl.wilen.us/images/GT3Bumper1.JPG Notice the GT3 bumper uses the same turn signal lens as the standard 997. The TT's on the other hand use the seperate LED turn signals. http://karl.wilen.us/images/GT3Bumper2.JPG So what do you do? Well, you cut open a $400 set of brand new foglamp/turn signal assemblies, and start modifying.....we really want to keep the LED turn signals. It isn't finished yet, there is still a lot of filling and sanding to do on the inside, but you can get the idea.... http://karl.wilen.us/images/GT3Bumper3.JPG |
