Default 89 Speedster questions

Hello,

I am new to porsches for the most part and have a couple questions regarding the 89 speedster. I have one, black/black, 29,000 miles. The head bolts in the motor are broken and need to be replaced. Can someone advise me on how to go abouts getting the repair done? I am concerned with the collectability factor as I know other collectors can be finicky about records. Do I need to take it to a dealer to retain maximum value? I have a porsche repair shop I take my 91 carrera to and considered using them for the repair but am afraid a potential buyer wont like that. Any advice? Also, the one I have has a whale tail and all the pictures of Speedsters I see online do not have one. Was this an option or an aftermarket addition? Did it kill value?
