911 starting problem after rain

Default 911 starting problem after rain
For some ODD reason my 87 911 after a rainy day will start but will run studdering... then when I turn the motor off, it wont start again. Bt if I wait for an hour, it will start after cranking the engine a little... it'll cough a bit and then start running fine as if nothing happened.

Might anyone have run into a similar problem in their Porsche's life?
