Default 911 Targa Model

I have a 1974 911 Targa. Is there anyway to determine which model it is...E, S, ??

The E and T designations were dropped in 1974. The standard model was just a 911, and the former E model became the new S model. Post the chassis serial number and I can tell you what model it was.
