Default Annoying Rattle Behind Instrument Cluster

I have an annoying rattle coming from behind the instrument cluster on my 1988 911 Carrera. It is more like coming from behind the oil temp/oil pressure gage or there about. The sound is not like wires hitting something, its not a clicking sound, its more or less sounding solid.

Would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thanks.

Fred

Has the dash ever been removed? There are a couple of mounting nuts back behind there.

Hi Doc Wilen,

I don't believe the dash has been removed. So, what could be behind the instrument cluster to cause the annoying rattle?
