Default another newby needs help

bought a motor off e bay! Ya I know. Now I'm playing what is it? Third case has "NO" numbers. It has CIS and I was told it was a. a 2.7L b. it was a "T"engine. The only T + CIS engine I can find in books is a 2.4 for the last half of 1973. So I am wondering. Did these late "T" engines also have cast iron cylinders? Mine has aluminum. Is there a part or number I can check for that is found on the 2.4 and not the 2.7 or vise versa? I plan to put this engine in my old 912 and will need a few pointers thare as well. Nice to know what to order parts for etc.
