APR exhaust and re-mapping

APR exhaust and re-mapping
I bought a 2005 997 last year and waited to do any mods based on the outrageous prices for exhaust, chipping, ect.
APR, the VW Audi tuner down in Auburn Al., is now getting into Porsches. They chipped my R32 a few years ago and changed the way it performed forever.
Recently APR contacted me about installing a new exhaust system for the 997. Billy Boat now works with APR and after hearing that I jumped on board. They also re-mapped the software. I basiclly have a new car now. The sound is quiet until the RPMs get around 6000 and then it takes on the most awesome sound. I drive with the windows down now. The re-mapping is flawless and the look of the new pipes are perfect. Anyone looking for more HP should look no further. APR is a class act too. They pour 90% of their revenues back into the business and are currently building a huge complex just outside Auburn, It even has a track.
I'm new to this forum and plan to post often. I'll get some pics up soon.
Anyone use H&R spacers or springs on the 997?
Thanks.

RE: APR exhaust and re-mapping
Awesome Dave.
I have a 2000 996 that has Fabspeed Mufflers, an Evo CAI,a short shift, and a strut brace. These are my only mods. I recently purchased a 2006 VW GTI that I tricked out with many mods including an APR reflashing. They are a class act!
I recently found out tha APR can reflash my Porsche 3.4 liter motor. I'm stoked about it. Without your car being turbo charged, can you notice a considerable difference? I beileve they say the 996 reflash bumps hp uo to about 320 and torque somewhere around the same.
Thanks,
Badapag
