Default CALIFORNIA SMOG REQUIRMENTS!

HI ALL!

I’m having trouble locating smog equipment for my 1976 Porsche 911 2.7 Targa. I have taken it to two local shops (one specializing in Porsches the other European cars) and neither one is able to locate the equipment needed. I purchased the Porsche about a year ago and have been unable to completely register it here is CA due to its harsh smog requirements. The 911 was purchased from a gal in Michigan where I’m sure smog requirement aren’t nearly as strict (if any). As far as I know it has absolutely NONE of the equipment needed for smog. Does anyone have an idea on where I can find this equipment? Unbelievably it passed the states requirements while idling with no equipment but failed miserably while being idled up. Any information would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks,
Brian

I would call around to some of the parts dismantlers and see if they have any of the items. Oklahoma Foreign, LA Porsche, Parts Heaven, DC Automotive, etc.
