I have used a battery to power the A terminal and the front lid opens ok but I cant open the back lid, I dont even hear a click??? any ideas thanks

 

Ken. What model and has it got auto spoiler deployment, or a fixed wing on the engine cover?

By the way I see you are in the UK, I was born in bath in Somerset living in the USA now..

 

Have you tried putting a charger on the battery, then once it is charged activating the keyless entry via your key.....ie, the alarm will lock you out of the rear if activated.

I know Bath very well. Youngest son did an MChem there, went to Oxford for a Phd, back to Bath in October for an MBA. Not enough money in the Uk as a Chemistry Lab Geek.
