Default changing spark plugs on 03 911
can anyone tell me where the spark plugs are located and how to get to them? a buddy and i looked and looked and couldn't even find them. does the engine have to be taken out?

Lol, no the engine does not need to be removed to do the job. It is a fairly easy job.

My writeup on the procedure is here. It is for a boxster, but the procedure is the same on the 996 C2/4

hi doc, thanks for the link. one further question. i can't find bosch plugs for my car anywhere. it's insane. everyone has autolite, ac delco, champion, ngk. any thoughts.

FGR 6 KQE is the number you need. About 13.50 each. If you can't find them, give me a shout, I have plenty sitting on the shelf at the shop.
