Ipod use gives static when the FM transmitter cord is plugged into the lighter. It is not a reception issue, it is an electrical connection issue. Wiggle the insert, and you get the noise. The cord works well in other car. Any suggestions for improvement? Failing that, is there an easy access to the lighter for replacement. Haynes gives no info. Thanks
