They're lessexpensive than the Pilots, but I'm really happy with my Continental SportContact 2s... And they're waaaaaay better than the crappy Pirellis I had on my C4S.

You may want to check out http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp. It's a great site for tire reviews/comps/pricing...

The sport contact 2's are definitely a good tire.

I've had all of them, although not all on a Porsche (Corvette, Audi S4, too). Hankooks do not stick quite as good as Michelins but have very long tread life, are fairly quiet, and really good in the rain. Falken's are okay. Kuhmos are a good general bargain tire. However, the best bargain compromise I have found all around are Dunlops -- hold good, work well in rain and hold very well when dry, and very little more than the cheapest available. However they make a bit more road noise.

hi lee. i have found someone who can sell me two 265 35 18's michelin all seasons to replace my rear tires real cheap. my front two are fine. question is suggested summer tire size is 285 and winter is 265. am i losing anything by driving year round on 265's all season tires?
