Hi guys. I think I am about to purchase a 1986 Targa (dependingon mechanic visit). I have never owned a Porsche and was wondering what are some problems I could expect to encounter. The car I am looking at had the top end rebuilt within the last 5k miles. It also has anew oil cooler and the targa top was just rebuilt. Are there specific things I should look for to avoid problems? Also, the tires need to be replaced, what are the best tires? Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks for all your help.
