Default help

hi there ,I am new ownwer of a 911 sc 1978

the car run good for the past week then yesterday after a quick run to a store it started for about 1or 2 second then stopped, since then the battery died on me trying to start again but nothing, it is only after 6 hours on a last attempt that the car started went home and this morning same thing again,

any ideas or past experience with this kind incident?
any one please?

Start basic, check for fuel, spark, and air.

Is there a whining/whistling noise coming from your cdi box when the key is in the on position? If not, then it is likely the box is bad.

yes it is in the same time than the antenna , radio , etc.... sound like a light whiiiiiiiiii!

Remove the air filter and with the key on, see if there is pressure on the fuel plate by pushing on it. If it pushes up with no effort, then there is no fuel. If it pushes up, but there is resistance, then the fuel pressure is probably ok.
