high rpms out of gear
Hello everyone.
Have been doing some autocross with a bone stock C4S.
Mostly 2nd and 3rd gear turns on these courses. Im noticing my gear lever popping out of 2nd gear occasionally.What is happening is I'm getting 7000-7300 rpms when this happens because I'm still on the gas. Will these rpms cause permanent damage to the engine even though I'm not in a wrong gear. What I mean is a missed downshift that would overrev the engine in gear.
