LOW OCTANE 1978 930??????
A FRIEND HAS BEEN TOLD TO USE LOW OCTANE (89) GAS ON HER 1978 TURBO.
I AM HORRIFIED!!!!!!
SINCE I AM PRIMARILY A VETTE PERSON, MY SCREAMING IS IGNORED.
WHAT GRADE FUEL WOULD A PORSCHE LOVER PUT IN A 930???

The use of 91 octane has been suggested by Porsche since 1967. I would not put anything less than 91 octane unless you want to start hearing knocking from your engine. (My wife says over my shoulder that the age should not matter. I think it makes perfect sense so I decided to include her thought as well)
