Default need advice on car inspection options

I just won an auction off of ebay for a 2005 porsche carrera s with 3800 miles on it. i just talked to the seller today and he tells me that he is too busy to get car inspected at authorized porsche dealership. He wants me to hire an independent inspector to come out to his home on a day he is free to have car inspected. Now, to my understanding, these independent inspectors do not have comp. diagnostic tools to read and fault codes nor do they have a lift system to carefully see the undercarriage and frame of the vehicle. Should I still move forward with this sale? The seller is constantly telling me that its only got 3800 miles, but I still want it checked out at a porsche dealership. What do you guys think?

Default RE: need advice on car inspection options

Get it checked at a dealer or an independant shop, or back out on the deal IMHO.
