There is not much you can do to an 944NA short of supercharging it. Air intakes, etc really dont do squat. A custom set of headers would get you a little, but very pricey. You can probably pick up a chip that is good for 5-10hp. Best options are to upgrade the suspension and learn how to drive it at autocrosses or DE events on a track.

You could also try losing a bit of weight! (The Porsche not you!)

You could take out all the none essential items - sound proofing, rear seat etc.....
