Default never overheat a 911

i recently over heated my 911 convertible and ended up with extensive damage. i have had a to replace a belt, water pump, coolant tank:confused, thermostat, plastic 'breather hose', and now an expansion tank. dang listing that makes me sad... but i cant wait to drive my baby tomorrow. any body have experience with over heating a 911... what other things can i look forward to...
