Default New Porsche owner needs advice

I just bought a 911 Turbo 2008 with 7000 miles. I purchased winter tires. I only drive about 75 miles a week. I was planning on just using these tires year round. My dealer told me not to: he said they are too soft for the summer, will wear to fast in the heat, etc. I am not sure if he is trying to sell me something,or if I really should get summer tires. Your thoughts? I live in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I've no experience of winter tyres, but there must be some major difference between them and summer tyres, or what would be the point? Best thing to do would to search the internet for the diffences and make your mind up from that information.

Sorry I can't be of more help, Kev.
