Default PDK Vs. Tiptronic

Is there a major difference in performance between the Tiptronic, if so which is better and what are the differences? Also do you think Porsche is going to put PDK on the urbo?

Default RE: PDK Vs. Tiptronic

Oh yeah. The Tip has 5 speeds and is a true automatic, with an automatic's friction losses.
The PDK is a 7-speed twin-clutch manual transmission that is shifted (clutch and shift mechanism) electrically, faster and cleaner than any human can, and electronic control of the clutch let-in in first gear to optimize the launch. It will be faster than the Tip, or the manual trans for that matter, and give better fuel economy than either, too.
