Default Please help! 911 Value???

Hey I am looking at buying my first Porsche. It's a 1983 911 coupe. It is also a true european wide body not just that look-a-like kit. This is the real deal. I just cant seem to find a value for this car. I need to know what the price difference is from the standard american to the european wide body? Any help with this would be great.

Thanks,
Dan

some wouldn't buy the euro car therefore there would not be any premium to the value imo...how much are they asking?

It's a bank repo and they haven't really set a price yet. I just wanted an idea of the price difference. I have been told the price diff for the wide body would be $2,000-$3,000.

Like Doug said, I wouldn't add a significant amount to the value based on the Europian Wide Body. I personnally like that style and would have been willing to pay slightly more. What is the condition of the car? Typically the 1984 or newer are more sought after because of some of the upgrades and the 3.2 liter engine. Just for comparison, I just paid $12K for a 1984 that is in very good condition (102,000 miles). A few minor electrical issues, but otherwise a great vehicle. Compare that to what they want for the 1983. Good luck.

American wide body, non turbo cars can bring in premium prices.... Not quite so with the euro cars... Also add in the price of a paint job, not cheap unless you are capable of doing this yourself, whenconsidering the price. I do think the turbo look is the best looking of that era Porsche. Good Luck
