Default Question about aero fins on 2001 C2

Hello,

I am looking at a 2001 C2 Cab, the car has low miles and is in good shape. It has the aero package with "fins" behind the rear wheels. Does anyone know if these can be easily removed? or would paint work be involved?

any input greatly appreciated

Wow, they are ugly, aren't they? I've never seen those, and I would be impossible to guess how to remove them anyway--shops often use different methods. But any decent body shop can give you a quote to remove them. They may be bolt/tape on in which it is easy and cheap to take them off. If they are bonded on you are looking at some money to restore the car to stock because you would have to repaint the locations, particularly since the car looks to be Arctic Silver and that is a difficult paint to match perfectly.
