Default Question about being 6'3" 300 lbs

I am in the market searching for a car. I am probly getting a 1999-2000 911. I have a good friend who is a porsche mechanic and tells me I will fit fine. I am just wondering what you guys think.

Thanks Justin

I think it depends on what seats you get. The height won't be a problem. But, at 300, the standard sport seats may be a bit unconfortable. I am 6'3 200lbs and the leg room is fine. But, my shoulders and back are a extremely snug against the sides of the seats. Would be a bit more comfortable if I were a little narrower.

Then again, the car is not really a comfortable ride anyway so it doesn't really matter. I say go for it.

Hi, I have a friend here in the U.K. & I don't know his exact weight, but lets say he ain't small. He owns a 911 Speedster & a 944 S2 Convertible, yet he seems to fit just fine.

I say, make sure you take the Porsche for a long test drive before you make your mind up!

I am going down to the dealership where my friend works sat to take out a 2002 911. he says interior space is very simmilar. I have driven small cars my entire life. Ie 5 different vw gold race cars. one of which was a rabbit. I am just looking to get into porsche because I am getting to old to make a 115 hp car fast. I want to be able to drive it and not worry about everything falling off. As for taking it for a long drive I have gotten used to not being comfortable in small cars.... thanks for all the input
