Default Seriously, about the engine fan...

A month from now my 911 will be taking its winter's nap. But today it was nice outside, with temps in the upper 50's and partly sunny.

The engine roared to life and out of the garage it came, albeit with the top UP now. After a romp at the dog park with my dog I put some tunes on in the garage and spent some quality time in the driveway cleaning my 911 up.

A little detailing under the hood reminded me of something....
That little engine fan back there...I have NEVER heard that thing kick in, even after driving home on the freeway from work about 13 miles. Is that unusual or more the norm with these cars?
(I've only had the car, my first Porsche, since the end of August)

thanks....

It will kick on and off randomly as needed. You typically never hear them run, but they are in fact working.
