After dabbling in big blocks and vettes over the last 25 years or so I finally have ended up in a 1984 Carrera Targa. The car has 105,000 miles and runs out well. Shifts smooth, clutch seems firm and it doesn't appear to leak anywhere. I am new to this forum and the world of Porsche and am sure I will have many questions and be here often. I am pleased with the deal I got ($12K)and hopethere is nothing big under the surface. I don't have a service manual yet, is there anything specific I should be checking out immediately? Thanks.
