Default Transmission Gears
How can I determine what gear is 1st 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th by the markings on the gears... cause I have a box full of gears but I cant determine what gear is what...

To some extent you can work it out by the relationship between the trans case, the layshaft and the counter shaft. However have you got a repair manual say from Haynes as a guide to help you?
Other than that you had better hope that Porsche Doc has a comment.
