thank you TexasSteve. i am a little puzzled with the vin# on my 68 911L, from some research online i found that the vin# from 11810001-11810720 only 720 were produced and the vin# 11805001-118055449 5,449 were produced for the US market. my car vin is 11835605, it does not have a " 0 " between the 118 and the 35605 number. so i'm not quite sure where my car falls in the number of produced 911L's in that year. i have had this car for over 20 years and i have never researched it. for reason it doesn't suprise me that i get a reply from someone in the great state of TX. i go down to Dallas often to visit my college buddies, and of course i am a football fan. Thanks
