Default what color is my paint code?
My 1980 911 sc has a paint code of 282-9-2. The car is sort of dark green. I can't find the code name anywhere. Does anybody know this color and what is it called?

I checked all of my references and can't find a paint code 282 listed.Is it a ROW or US model? You might check with a dealer they may have a listing for the code...Good Luck

I'd be interested where you found this... I looked thru all my stuff and couldn't find a paint code 282...

Thanks but its definitely not beige. Its almost a evergreen green. Maybe its a special customer ordered color since I looked deep inside the body and its definitely the original paint.

Well 282 is the color code for Savanna Beige. I can double check some of my other references when I go into work tomorrow to make sure it isn't a misprint.

Here is a quick question? Do you have a beige interior? Sure you aren't reading the interior color code?

Its possible. I looked on the left door jam and found it there. For 1980 isn't that where the paint code is?

I'm not trying to hi-jack Steve's post, but the reason I ask is I’ve been trying to find some info on paint code956-93U3, as listed on my 1984, 930…. Might be a special order color, as the car was ordered through Porsche’s Special Wishes Program in late 1983… Got any ideas?
