Default alighning rear wheel hubs!

I'm restoring a 76' 912e and have replaced the rear wheel bearings on both sides and control arm bushings as well. I've bolted in both sides at the bishings to the frame and the 3 bolts to the trailing arms. I'm trying to put the splines through the middle of the hubs so that I can lock them both in with the nut and waser. I can't get the splines through the hubs far enough to get the nut on there correctly to lock it in place. Is there any suggestions from anyone on how to get this problem solved? I would really appreciate the help from anyone who knows what is needed to complete this project or who has done this before. Mahalo nui loa, Shane

Windows will not start on my Dell laptop computer, it say's unmountable-boot-volume. I was told to reload windows to see if that would solve the problem. My problem is I have no idea how to reload windows,
