almost any porsche motor will bolt up to that trans axle, you want to make a super sleeper out of that bug, start saving your money, I have seen Volkswagen buses (which have a heavy duty trans axle, you will want to use too) that just rocket past and Piwis Tester II the motor is almost completely quiet, (after it goes bye you up hill its obviously not a normal bus.
