924S in the shop.. STILL
My 924S has been in the shop for close to a month now. THe car was supposed to be professionally rebuilt soon before I bought it.
The mechanics found 2 belt gear pins missing in the timing belt array, so the shaft on one (some kind of position sensor i guess) is shot and the gears on both are gone. The drivers side wheel bearings have been "jack ****" shipped by UPS to four different shops around the country, and still are not there yet. The belts all need to be replaced because the seals on the gearshafts were not installed correctly and soaked the belts in oil.
The bill to fix her all up is going to be close to $1k, but when I get in it and drive it I hope all that it's all worth it.
