Default 1987 928 s4

Sorry to bug you guys,

But I recently test drove a 928 s4 with 90K miles.

It was sluggish and unresponsive.

The maintenance records were files (FILES) that were in meticulous order, which I was of course very pleased to see.

But the car was just…a....wimp.

My last car was a 4.0L 2001 Jag s-type and before that a 2001 Audi s4.

I just do not understand how a motor profile of this caliber; that is billed out as a 5.0L V8 reminds me of a very poorly tuned 87 RX7? (A motor which I've rebuilt more than once)

When I test drove it, the car just dogged. It was like a "Sad Car"....sad and depressed.

So I'm wondering what I did I do wrong, like awkward car sex or something?

Is there a sport mode the dealer guy wasn’t aware of? Granted it’s an automatic, but still this is supposed to be the fastest production car for its year automatic or not…are the cats clogged…..WHAT!?!

I was expecting this car to at least respond. It gave me no confidence.
When you hit the gas pedal it was like Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh…. Gloomily: "So it is."
There has to be something bizarrely wrong…..or is this just how a 928 automatic s4 is?

I don’t understand! This is a 5.0L Porsche! 1987, 4 speed tranny or not, the performance of this car is making the logical part of my brain hemorrhage!

Is it computer calibration problem?

Default Oh....

Just talked to my buddy of mine from England.

Apparently Porsche decided to hook up a super awesome motor to..... a pencil sharpener for a gear box.

Google shares soared to a price above $ 1,000 on Friday as investors celebrated by the results of the last quarterly report the company.
The share increased 13% and reached a high of $ 1,007 per unit, well above the previous record of $ 928 in July. Shares fell a little then near the close of trading, trading for $ 998.
On the afternoon of Thursday, Google reported earnings and revenue that exceeded expectations of investors as a result of the strengthening of the company's core business, Internet search.
The action could grow even month, as shown by analysis reports Friday.
Deutsche Bank was one of the most optimistic, predicting the action of Google at $ 1,200.
Credit Suisse put the price at $ 1,200 and Jefferies now believes that Google could reach 1,150 at some point next year.
