Default auto to manual swap

Hi, I have a 1979US model 928 w/ auto trans. The car is in very good condition w/ fresh paint and newly reconditioned interior, new Pantra 18" rims and Perlli P-Zero's. Sounds good right? But the car is a dog untill you get to about 50 mph. Then it comes to life, and seems more like the 944 I had, but alas there is no Autobon in the midwest US so I've bought a 5-speed from a 79 euro car. I'm a mechanic by trade but not a Porsche mechanic so any tips in doing the swap would be appreciated. I bought everything from flywheel to trans. w/ both clutch and brake pedals and master cyl. firewall mount which is not found on a auto trans. car. So has anyone done this or know where I can find info. P.S. Engine has 118,000 on it and was just gone thru by local Porsche dealership before I bought.
Thanks, John
