Hi There Porsche 928 owners&just recently i purchase a 928 manual 1979 31 years old& still in good shape&they have longevity for sure
Has any 1 done the conversion with the Chevrolet V8 conversion?& i was contimplating but seems like sacralidge! but mine has done 189k's&is up for maintanenece&i realize that
Clutch slight judder on take off so that suggests a clutch job& first gear bearing a little noisy
Brake master cylinder leaking so brakes require service work etc
I know if you go faster with engine changes there are other considerations brake upgrades suspension etc&with the 928's i see even the later cars the value drops off&is that in part to maintenance issues?
And i see the kit that Renagade offers for the engine switch would eliminate a lot of issues that the 928 seems to have
They are a great looking car with a very unique(timeless) body design&mine is good in the body with no cracks in the dash top&it's Guards Red!
Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
