Default Mythbusters needs Porsche 928's

hello, i'm a researcher on the tv show Mythbusters. we're in need of 928's between 1978-86. we testing the drag coefficients...supposedly the aerodynamics are better going backwards than forwards. we're also interested in obtaining fiberglass body kits, we're having trouble locating these as we've heard they don't exist. hopefully some of you can help me prove that they DO exist...c'mon Porsche people, help out the Mythbusters!

I would start with craigslist and ebay in your area.

I've been a 928 enthusiast since the early 80's and I've never heard that one..... I seriously doubt the blunt end of the 928 has better aerodynamics then the pointed front end.

Are you guys looking to "borrow" somebody's 928?

Default The converted Porsche 924/928 silver Aero

Hello Amon Duul,

From the early 90's I worked on this idea and that's where the Myth is started. The Porsches I build got mid-engines. I found that Porsche tested the 928 in the Wind tunnel themselves with better result. Maybe you can pick up the exact test results too.
Check the backward Porsche I build: The converted Porsche silver Aero; http://www.oskardekiefte.nl/Better%20Aerodynamics.html

I'm an Artist Engineer oskardekiefte@gmail.com
My book 40% AUTO shows the project too
