What would cause my car to only accelerate to 1200 rpm or 15mph, although the idle is fine. I had to swerve left-right-left, and the power would come back on fully,for a short time then cut out again. The car has very low miles.

Thanks. Isthere adifference between the TPS and the throttle switch. Haynes manual doesn't seem tospecify. How can I change the TPS and where exactly is it located?

 

It is the throttle position switch. black box on the side of the throttle body (on the NA's it is on the underside).
